Hi. Welcome to my travel journal. After, well, quite a few years working for IBM in London, the travel bug finally got the better of me. Starting in January I have 6 months to go do something totally different. I'm spending 2 months in Vietnam teaching children through a voluntary programme, then I have 4 months travelling around China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti and Peru. Bill Bryson I aint, but I hope to use this site as a way of keeping my friends and family (and any random passers by) at least vaguely up-to-date with my travels on my sabbatical. I'm testing this site out right now, but once I've got to grips with it, I'll start updating it with news and photos.Thanks for dropping by, Si
