Hola from Guatemala guys! Fell in love with Antigua after about an hour - it's seriously gorgeous! Woke up at 8.30am this morning, had an hour long breakfast of heuvos guatemaltecos in a lovely sunny courtyard cafe. The city has a cosmoplitan artsy feel but is small and really friendly, and it's hot and sunny, the buildings are all single storey along cobbled streets. It has a dramtic setting as well - surrounded by jungle-covered hills and 3 volcanoes...sorry ...

Que tal amigos We{ve been here in Chiapas for a few days now. Yesterday we went to see the Mayan ruins at Palenque which were stunning - temples and palaces rising out of the jungle - very cool and we had a wacky guide who told us all about his history conspiracy theories! Also stopped at some lovely waterfalls in the jungle. Today we've been into the highlands to visit some indigenous indian villages and learnt lots about their history and culture...not many...

Hola from hot and sunny Oaxaca! We're having a lovely time here, relaxing with una cerveza o una floty en el zocalo. It's a really nice small city with a gorgeous main square with big old trees, fountains, lined with cafes and bars...ahhh just like Strood me thinks! Hey gringos! Been in La Ciudad de Mexico for a couple of days now and still haven't been mugged, robbed or shot!! We're staying in a nice hostel one minute from the Cathedral and main square. Yesterday we went to the ancient site of Teotihuacan and climbed the sun and moon pyramids (favourite saying of the day - No gracias to the numerous hawkers trying to sell us tatt) Today we went to the Frida Kahlo museum and had a ride on a gondola on the pre-Hispanic ...

Que tal amigos? We're in the charming town of San Miguel de Allende, the sun is shining, we're drinking cappucino in a lovely cafe...ahhhhh! Could spend ages here just wandering around the beautiful little streets with yellow, terracotta and orange houses, cobbled streets, fountains and little craft shops..even took some landscape photos in Parque Benito Juarez for inspiration! As a little luxury we're staying in a fab little hotel with rooms around a court...
