Greetings from Jasper Have spent the last couple of days in the Rockies. Last night was spent in a hostel in Rampart Creek (middle of nowhere) with no running water, no TV (can you imagine that...how uncultured!) Hi Folks Left Vancouver a few days ago, heading east into the Rockies. Spent a day at Lake Shuswap then Banff, and now in Calgary. The change in the landscape from the Rockies to the Plains to the Badlands has been incredible (you cant take the landscape architect out of me!) Heading back to Banff tomorrow for some hiking, glacier trekking and white water rafting. Meeting lots of fun and interesting people, but still miss you all Don't have a cow dude! Stuart

Howdiddly doodly Just back in Vancouver today after 4 days on Vancouver Island. It's a lovely place with stunning scenery - mountains, lakes, rainforest. Went surfing in Tofino, saw humpback whales, and trekked across a remote island to sit in the hot springs....ahhh just like being in the bath back at home in Strood! Howdy Made it safely to Vancouver...and what a great place it is. Sunny, hot, friendly, great parks, cafes, fantastic views. I'll load some pictures onto the site soon so you can see what I mean. Final day in Vancouver tomorrow, then I'm off to Whistler (a bungee jump into the gorge looks extremely likely!), then a few days on Vancouver Island. Then I'm off to the Rockies for some whitewater rafting, glacier trekking and maybe a few beers. Hope you're all well....
