Finally we arrived in Shanghai early in morning! It seems to be very nice attraction place to see/visit different places! I liked the look of buildings as it looks very model and clean! We waited to meet up with Neil who was with his chinese friends. They were stuck in traffic so we decided to talk about what we are going to do next with trains to Hong Kong! Lots of Chinese people keep looking at us, whispering and staring at us! LOL! Neil and his friends got lost in Shanghai train station as his friend said its massive station and quite diffucult to find the place where we was waiting for them! Neil and his friend just arrived, we introduced each other and chatted away. It was well cool to watch Neil communicating with his chinese friend in Chinese Sign Language when we all didnt even understand them at all.
We talked and decided what to do next as Neils friend offered to help us out with train tickets and get us cheaper tickets to Hong Kong. I thought it was very kind of them to help us out, i was really grateful because they can help us with translate in chinese language! We managed to get our tickets sorted and went out to have something to eat. They paid everything for us, i felt kinda bad because i knew they didnt have much money due their deafness in china. They explained to us whats their life is like in china etc. I offered to give the money they wouldnt accept it, Neil explained to us and said its their culture to say welcome to China! I really enjoyed spending a day out with them! We found a taxi to take us to the hostel even they took us to the wrong one! We had to walk another 15mins to find right hostel called Central Hostel Shanghai! I was well impressed with the hostel even its well big place for all travellers to stay for few days!
The staff were very friendly and helpful with whatever we need to ask :) We settled and the dorms was nice and fairly big for just two of girls! :) Everything is just perfect for all of us especially with FREE breakfast, wifi access etc
