Here in Kilyos still, waiting for a camera Fintan ordered. Finally we find out the paperwork to fill in, although its all in Turkish Fintan has a good guess at the questions, and so it should be arriving in a couple of days... In the meantime we said farewell to our Danish friends - who are now taunting us by being several days ahead of us on the road to Georgia!

Before they left we had a lovely dinner altogether - we supplied the meat and salad, they the pasta and most importantly the alcohol!

We are spending our days doing worthwhile things; fixing things for the car, doing laundry, going to the beach, eating kebaps, making more of a plan for Georgia and re-organising the China tour. We're drinking a lot of tea and enjoying our Turkish Delight, although I don't always refill Fintan's tea cup/ vodka and orange as quickly as he'd like! He wishes he'd come travelling with Reuben now! He always anticipated Fintan's needs, much better than I am apparently!

So we are waiting, patiently enough. At least we have internet to continue with our other planning! It never seems to end... Very much looking forward to the "halfway point" of Laos, when visas and driving on the left again kicks in! But we are in a nice place, everyone is very helpful and we even managed to see the Venus tracking across the sun using a pair of binnoculars and Fintan's notebook.
