Hi guys, hope all is good with everyone! Happy birthday to Amanda and Katie! Last week, it worked out that I was only the only person in my class so I had one on one lessons which was great, normally you would pay lots more to have individual classes at the school. I am really enjoying it but it's very hard sometimes too, I HATE IRREGULAR VERBS!!! Sometimes we get to have our classes on the beach or at the market to practice our spanish by talking to locals...

Just a quicky......I just wanted to share my excitement with the whole world that my replacement debit card finally arrived today!! Well, when I say arrived, basically the school tracked the envelope down at a postoffice in the next town to Tamarindo called Villareal. So I took no chances and went there this morning on the school run to pick it up myself. Hi everyone! I'm at the end of my second week in Tamarindo now and I'm loving every minute of it. School is great although this week has been hard because the lessons are so intense and you learn so much in just one day, you have to do alot of study in your own time to keep up...it's hard to get back into the routine of self discipline and homework! well i have to say, unfortunately the last couple of days have been pretty s***.....on sunday i was getting on the bus from san jose to go to tamarindo and some ******* **** stole my small rucksack with my passport, all my money, bank card, driving license, camera, ipod, phone, travel journal, all my books including my guide book. the police were crap and i had to miss my first day of school to go to the embassy in san jose on monday morning to get a new passport...

Hey everyone, after the longest 11 hour flight I arrived in San Jose on Monday evening. My hostel is great, loads of hammocks around the pool to chill out in! Tuesday I wandered round San Jose, loads of goodies to buy in the markets - I've already bought a bag! San Jose reminds me of Mexico City - its very busy and there's loads of maniac drivers around.
