Da Nang - 16th April - we arrived here on the overnight train at 5am.  Most travellers do not stop here but we thought we would stay one night as it is not very westernized and it is the 4th largest city in vietnam.  it is quite pricey aswell. 

not much to report on da nang really except it is the home to the cham empries museum (bit boring though) and then if you go over the bridge you get to the infamous China beach and MyKhe.  These beahces are stunning but there is no one there, so if you just want to chill and do nothing for your holiday then pay this place a visit.  We think this place will explode with tourism ove the next 10 years as you can lots of hotels and buildings being built.  

we did a bit of exploring and where glad we stopped as it is not touristy at all and all the locals are not used to seeing westerners.
