NEWS FLASH.............. IT"S RAINING! We actually stood at the window this morning and stared at the lack of mountains and sea. All we could see and hear was rain. Nothing could dampen our joy though as it's Katie's birthday (yeah!!!) and the kids are in Melbourne. This meant we could have a nice long chat and we did. Also, we laughed ourselves silly at rhys Derby last night-a sell out.

The photo album says it all for the last couple of weeks so just go there and have a look. More sun, sea, mountains and CAKE! Paul has whizzed up a batch of chocolate chip cookies today-oh my, they are really good.

Only 5 days now until we meet Katie and Matt in Queenstown for 'the big one'. I actually loaded up a pack to the right weight for the Milford walk and carried it for 5 hours when we went up Mt Arthur. We're as ready as we can be. Hopefully we'll have time to update you before Christmas.
