I'm going to start with wow! Spain is such an incredible country. We departed San Sebastian yesterday and we were a little sad to do so. We so very much enjoyed the people, food, city and booze. On our last night we undertook a pintxos cruise which actually ended in a sangria crawl. It was very awesome. The good was amazing. We started every morning at a place called the Haritza Bar, run by this old guy who was there from open to close. We also ended every day by stopping at the same bar. Why you may ask? Well brekky would cost us €10 and to sit and drink red wine at the end of a night was €1.20 a glass, that's "UNO vasos de vino tinto por fa vour".
We are now in Barcelona staying in a great location thanks to my mate Norm. We are on La Ramblas, the busiest street in all of Spain where the action really is. We arrived at the Royal Ramblas at 1030pm, dropped our bags and immediately went to find something to eat. This wasn't hard as this while area was still alive with people going about the business and having fun....so incredible. I would say so far Spain is my pick of countries and one place we both know we will be back to.
