She says: this morning I woke up as we were heading into port in gorgeous Corfu, Greece. Fortunately, our plans for the day were very relaxed and we had breakfast delivered to the room, snoozed a bit more and then headed ashore.
There was a short bus ride to town, with a breathtaking turn when we got a view of the Old Fort and the ancient ruins on the top of the hill. Right away, Matt said, "I want to go there." the boy gets what he wants.
We wandered around the old fort a bit and then found some stairs down to the Corfu Sailing Club within its walls. Desperately needing some water, we headed to the cafe. On the way, there was a tiny, beautiful beach. A quick dip to cool down and now we are rehydrating at the sailing club and using their free Internet (password: keepsailing).

He says: After a lazy morning, we set out into the heat of midday in Corfu. After getting some advice on getting to a nearby beach from a librarian at the fort we were visiting, we headed directly there to cool off in the Mediterranean. The water was clean and crisp - just what the doctor ordered.

We just finished a refreshing lunch at a sailing club overlooking the water by the beach. The pasta there may have even topped Rome. This has been a perfect lazy day.
