Hi Shaun. Checked your site today. Good to hear you are still alive and enjoying life. I"m just a little jealous of your scuba diving opportunities though!!! Can't wait to see you in one of those custom suits. Enjoy Malaysia!

Shawn,
I'm a little choked that you didn't want to get your PADI open water cert with me before you left. Remember? I asked you... . I'm going to do mine in August. I'm still looking for a partner though, because Jenny's too afraid she's going to die. Anyway, have fun...

Just got back from the cabin - half the weekend was nice, half was rainy. There was a big party boat that liked to tear up the nice water with tubers. Aughhh! Anyway, I told Ryan that if the weather continues to be like this during the summer, we need to get out of here, give up wakeboarding and just surf. Excited to hear that you are getting to SCUBA. We wanted to, but not enough time. Just remember what I said about spending time on Thai beaches for me...
PS- It doesn't surprise me to read what uncle Murray had to say!
Uncle Murray
Hey Shaun, nice to see your progress, we're thinking of you, when you get back I'll show you a neat trick for how to get rid of tapeworms. Love from us all, Murray, Sherry, Michi and Aaron

Hi Shaun. Well it is SOOOO good to be back on Canadian soil. I had a great surprise at the airport on Tuesday as my whole family, except Dale, were here in Edmonton to greet me, as well as Earl and Susan and my friend Lynn. Needless to say the happy tears were flowing! We all went to Earl and Susun's for a BBQ and Shannon, Joanna, and Kelly all joined us as well. So I was able to give all your goods to my parents to give to your parents. I must confess, I couldn't resist a little show and tell, what with the great Masai(sp?) knife and club and all. By the way, happy Canada Day, from yesterday! It's good to be home! Take care, and look forward to hearing more! Noreen

Hey dude! I think it was a wise choice about NOT going to India. Alex said you should do it BUT I think it was a smart move as you were alone. NEXT TIME AROUND RIGHT!!!!! Good to hear you are still alive and kickin! Sounds like you are still enjoying yourself as that is the main thing!!! We'll follow you along with ENVY now that we are back into jobs and the "real" life again. We wanna be right there where you are! Grrrrrrrrr.
Well, keep safe and we'll watch out for your next exciting update!!!

You must sit on a beach in Thailand for AT LEAST one day for me, bro. I am missing that action (or lack of action) terribly. And if you can get to the Peretian (I think that's what they are called) Islands in Malaysia, go there for me too. I heard they are brilliantly gorgeous, and it was monsoon season on that side of the country when we were there, so no Peretians for us. Gives us a reason to go back! Wanna come?!

Hey Shaun,
So everyone is telling me you look like your uncle Murray in the newest pics. I guess I need to see this man. To me you just look like a man who can't afford to buy a razor. Just jokes, I actually like the look if it is ok for one male to say that to another male.

Hi Shaun,
Just checked into your site and wow you have done some decent miles around the world.
We completed our 5 months in South America around 7 weeks ago now. We are now living in your home country - Canada! We are calling a little apartment in downtown Toronto our home until mid September. Toronto is a great city with lots of diversity and must say the people are really friendly and polite.
Look forward to some more updates.

Hey! Who would have ever thought that you would turn out to look like Uncle Murray, eh?!

Hi Shaun: Saw your pictures. You look like one of those scary hitch hikers that I would never pick up. Good to see a picture of you though.
As I am writng this, I am in Calgary attending the GPS. We had dinner with Frank on Tuesday. It was a great time.
I am scouting out busness with Sheldon. Calgary is still hoping. There may be some working in management with some oil companies here for you.
Later.
