Today was a flight to Brewarinna, to pick up a 19 year old in premature 30-week labour. On arrival in Brewarrina she was almost fully dilated nd was ready to push on the aeroplane - help! We luckily had her in the ambulance to Dubbo base hospital before the baby crowned, but that was one scary moment! Its amazing how these women have no antenatal care out in the bush, until the advent of labour! This lady had no idea how far along she was! It was only guess work that she was around 30 weeks! No ultrasound there then...

Anyway, off to the cinema tonight...
