Day 9&10: 2nd-3rd sep
Arrived finally in Irkutsk after the long journey. Its a lovely charming city- but not so much to see and do. It was great to relax and recover from the train! The strangest thing was that it was 30 degrees celcius- roasting hot the first day- and then minus 3 the next day!!! Never seen such a dramatic change in 24 hours- guess that's siberia for you.

Saw lots of beautiful churches and visited the Decembrist museum.

After 2 nights here we boarded the train for an overnight journey to Ulan Ude.
