Hi all, sorry we've not updated in quite a while- time is flying past! We flew to Bangkok from Cambodia to save time and lengthy border crossings. Our first 2 days there were unbelievable- gorgeous Luciana booked us 2 nights in a really really swanky 5star hotel in the centre for our wedding present. 6th-8th October: Siem Reap is awesome! It's a lovely place with an amazing nightlife and a great buzz- wish we had longer here! Of course the real highlight was the temples of Angkor. We visited many of these unbelievable ancient temples and were in awe of them all- our favourite was Banyon- the one with the faces- we'll get pictures up soon. It was actually like being in an Indiana Jones film! xxx

4th-6th October 2009 Well we decided we needed a couple of days relaxing on a beach so headed south to Sihanoukville. Not really the prettiest place- and constant hassle from kids selling stuff. Not much to report: cheap beer and cocktails, lots of lazing in hammocks in make-shift beach bars, lots of reading in our stilted bungalow- that's about it. We are now well rested!xxx

Phnom Penh: 2nd-4th October We set off very early to catch our bus to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The 6 hour journey was fine with no hassle getting our visas at the border. The beautiful countryside of Cambodia made for an interesting final 2 hours on the bus. Great introduction to the city when we arrived and had our first Tuk-Tuk ride to our hostel- loved it- such an awesome way to travel (a carriage attached to a moped).
