Preparing to fly to Bangkok today, like £22 and meet Guus who was staying at D & D right in the middle of Khoa San. Spoke with Rhi in the morning and was just getting the feeling she needed a friendly face after all she has been through the last few days and the last few weeks with travelling across the U.S. and Mexico so I decided to take the plunge and fly to Surat Thani to get to Koh Tao where she was now and miss Guss which I felt a dickhead about but I didn't like Rhi on her own out here and I was struggling to work out when I would see her anyway so explained to Guus again I wouldn't be seeing him, understandably not happy I hope he understands my reasoning so went to the airport in Chiang Mai and luckily got a flight straight away to Surat Thani at 1.15 a bit pricey so whacked it on the credit card. Got to Surat Thani to find the next ferry to Koh Tao was the night ferry at 11pm! Savage! So had to wait around in Surat Thani basically stayed in a Internet cafe, tried sorting Bas' phone insurance documents online and sort my plan to Indonesia and also Oz after so feel a lot more prepared now. Will be meeting Laura which will be awesome and also G is flying out from 3rd-7th so it will be great for us 3 to be together again! So stayed around the area and got the night ferry, took some Valium and would meet Rhi at the pier for 6am in Koh Tao - the best place ever! :)
