We left Milano late afternoon on July 11th and headed to Verona. Autostrada A4 was a pleasure to drive. I quickly got the rhythm of this Italian highway and started enjoying it. In fact I had a feeling that I finally acquired what I needed badly on North American highways - the speed and order. Yes, there is order on Autostrada, but again - I will write about it later.
Our hotel Ca del Sasso located in a little village 15 min from Verona was our next pleasant experience. We were welcomed by a very nice Russian (!!) lady - Olga. (No laughing Dave!) Spacious apartment, our own kitchen, fantastic restaurant across the road (that narrow two way you guys saw on the picture) - who could wish for more?
But we wished.
And after dinner we went to see Verona in electric light!
