On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me; Arequipa, Arequipa, Arequipa.

We flew from Cuzco to Arequipa but were heavily delayed due to weather. Sitting on the tarmac for over an hour was an interesting start. Therefore when we arrived to Arequipa it was dinner and bed. Baptised as the White City due to the volcanic rock it is built from it did look beautiful. However, we were only to be there for a small while before going to the Colca Canyon. We would return but in the New Year.
