After 41 hours in transit, we made it home at 5:30pm. All flights on schedule and no issues at all. It was a great vacation but it is good to be home. The whole trip went very well. A lot of the success has to be attributed to African Sky, their great arrangements and, particularly, to our guide, Andre Hamann. We don't leave until Wednesday, Oct. 28, but I wanted to get the blog started early to make sure I had it all figured out. The first real entry will probably be October 30 or so either from Hong Kong (en route) or from Pretoria after we arrive in South Africa. Hopefully we can keep this site updated every day or two.
