Up at 5 and a quick breaky overlooking oily calm Huu bay. See you lakey. Some lovely waves and people. Two hours of bumps and lumps to bima airport. Feels like the start of the trip home.
Five hours later and we're still at the airport. Having a ball and enjoying the travel experience. Had a lovely chat going with a couple of guys that came in from lakey with us for the flight. Phil from Devon is a really joyful kind of guy. He gave me some good tips on spots to stay in southern England if the house swap thing comes off. He's on his way to Chang Mai for a 28 day retreat. No food. No talking.
Rod from Wollongong is a coal miner who's just spent 5 weeks in japan snowboarding and 2 weeks in lakey. So, good stories!!
Better go. Planes here at last. Yay for the chance happenings of travel.

The now expected perfect transfer from world surfaris brings us to the Melia Hotel Nusa Dua. Heart of luxury stuff and somehow my boardies and Bintang shirt don't cut it with the rest of the toffs. We wander on like we live here anyhow, enjoy the free welcome drink, and try not to look govsmacked when the concierge hits a massive brass gong to announce our arrival! True
Off to our airconned, minibared, satellite flatscreened, pool overlooking rooms. Think you've excelled yourself this time Mr B
