This is one of my fav. pics as well. Sanshia has this place called Old Street that is this market with recreation of a traditional shopping street from the olden days. This monk was just sitting and praying as people were walking by doing their shopping and the like. it was an interesting metaphor of Taiwan's cultural and spiritual process as a developing country.
