In Kwai, i.e. "the brigde over the river Kwai" Went around the war cemetories and museums, was abit sad to think off all the lives that were lost. Local guide estimate that 1 person for every sleeper died in the construction process, mostly POW's!! On a lighter note had a good meal on a floating resturant then took a boat up river to our floating huts where we had to sleep! Got sloshed with our guides they had the strongest "Thai river water" you had tasted!!! more like pure vodka! James said he couldnt wait to laugh at the first one that was ill, next morning he was throwing up! Off to chang Mai tomorrow to do elephant trekking, can't wait!!!
