G'day! It has been a couple months since Lauren rode a horse so she had a lesson in Centennial Park in the middle of Sydney (kind of like a mini Central Park) which was lovely for us watching in the shaded sidelines but HOT for 'Joe' and Lolo in the direct sun at 29C.....but she loved it! Quite the Equestrian Centre with a 200 horse capacity in the middle of the city! The hot weather and humidity are back so enjoying some indoor downtown sights like the Sydney...

Happy St Paddy's Day!! Yesterday we mastered the public transit system taking the bus, train and water ferry to the Taronga Zoo which was amazing! Such wonderful and interactive exhibits with a gorgeous view of the city! It reminded us of the San Diego Zoo being built on slopes. The baby gorilla and of course the koala bears were a hit! Seeing the infamous Opera House and Harbour Bridge were great with so much activity on the water. Today was a relaxing bea...

We've spent the past couple of days sharing stories and photos, beating jetlag, doing laundry to clean off the many layers of Kenyan dust and generally adjusting to life with 5 people....and one bathroom! The photos Lauren took are simply amazing and plentiful that it will be tough to select a small amount for keepsakes. First stop was to the beach and the strong riptide that flipped Lauren around like a ragdoll (good pic posted)! but laughed through it all. ...

Well, we are finally Down-Under which has been a long time dream of mine and so far, so great! Qantas was a great airline (free drinks!) and we arrived last night into a 2 bedroom apartment we rented in Bronte (just near Bondi). It is definitely warmer and more humid than NZ so we all had cool showers and hit the sack with a 2-hour time change. We have rented a van which seems big after our small car and especially as the roads are narrow - feel like we are al...

We had to leave the rental home by 10am so spent the day at the Orlando Science Centre before our 6 hour flight to San Francisco where we got off and literally boarded for Sydney for 15 hours! Brady wins the award for toughing out the sniffles and sneezes from a cold while Jeff won most watched consecutive movies and for not having a reclining seat!! Brady managed to stay up past 3:00am where he enjoyed eating dinner so late....or early? A lovely 23C at 8am in...
