Well, we left YK at -30C for Edmonton where is was only -21C! Now it's raining and +2C with lots of slush - crazy Canadian weather! Looking forward to it getting warmer and warmer as we go.
The adjustment from our spacious, lovely house into a basic, hot hotel room x4 people for 2 nights had a few bumps but we made it and attended both medical appointments, did some shopping (great deals on summer discounted clothing!), and enjoyed some nice meals. We spent this afternoon at the Terwilliger Aquatic Centre frolicing in the water - proud to say that we all (Mom included!) jumped from the 5metre platform. Lauren won the award for most brave while Brady won for most jumps!
We were hoping to see our dear former YK friends, the LeMare's but sadly they fell ill but had a wonderful visit and dinner with the Charlwood's who we tried to convince to meet us Down-Under!
Now we wait.....taking the 'red-eye' flight leaving at midnight to Fort Myers, Florida through Toronto...arriving tomorrow at noon - boys have their shorts on already!! Hope we get a little shut-eye on the flight!!

Mo Hope the travels are going smoothly thus far! I have sent a pic of your lovable pooch layin' on some lovin' - he's discovered the chaise lounge (where he slept on Wednesday night, apparently), and our bed (while I was downstairs on the chaise lounge last night). He's good about getting down when told though, so he's not getting too badly spoiled. :) It's practically a heatwave here today (-19C), so looking forward to getting the Pooch Posse out again this aft - it'll be much more fun than yesterday's -42C with windchill. Enjoy the heat in FL!!!

Est-ce-que tu aime le Floride beaucoup? Est-ce-que c'est trop chaud? Ou est-ce-que tu va à le prochaine fois? Quel est la temperatur? Ici a l`école Madame Heidi et Hereld on a porter un alse le semaine passé. C`était trés gros et sanglant! J`espere que tu va avoir un bon temp a Fluoride. Monika
