Wish You Were Here!
Sorry its been a while....but lots has been happening and only just got the chance to do the next edition.
Since last time.....I partyed a bit more on Kho Phngnan then haded for Krabi and Phi Phi.
On the 28th (Tuesday)....the day after the black moon party got up fairly late and did little appart from eat and watch movies. That night was again heavey, meating an Italian guy called Hoze and one or two buckets the downfall.
The next day was another lazy one....but decided to go to Krabi the following day by boat.
On the Thursday we left at 6am for Krabi after nearly missing the taxi as clare overslept by 1 hour (Burke). Said goodbye to Phangnan and the dog we'd become friendly with (steve) and got the Ferry....then a bus then another boat.....to finally arrive in Rillay (Krabi) for the sunset and a nice fish meal.
The following day me and Clare went on a Kayak tour of the islands around Rillay....stoppinf off in a cave and in the evening watched the sunset againbefore more seafood and a few drinks. The Saturday was chilled with mush beach relaxation and not a lot else.
The sunday was an excellant day.....with an evening snorkelling trip on a lovely boat. Saw a few Nemo (clown fish) loads of coral and needless to say hundreds of fish i have no idea of their names. It ended with fish feeding in the water and a really nice (ironic) seafood meal and watching the sunset aboard the boat. In the evening a few drinks were consumed....leading to not a great deal happening the following day.
On the Tuesday (7th) we got up early to head to Phi Phi. Got there around 10/11 ish and had a look round the town. Booked a 1 day discover scuba dive course.....then headed for a beach named Long beach.....which strangely wasnt that long. We had hired snorkelling gear so decided to go out to the sea and see what we could find.....and words cant fully describe what we came up with.......BLACK TIPPED REEF SHARKS.....it was one of the most amazing.....if not a little frightening expreiences ever.....made even more worrying with the addition of one or two lets say....jelly fish.
The next day was our dive course and that proved to be proberbly my best expreience in all the time I have been travelling....the coral amazing.......the fish incredible and the sight of not one but 3 sea turtles.....and yes another shark (this time a Leopard) shark made the day truley unforgettable. We headed back for Rillay that evening (last night) and another heavy night comenced.
Today I said goodbye to Clare and sadly ended the Ryan and Clare club! and headed for Phuket, where i am now....ready to catch a flight to Kuala Lumpor tomorrow (Am hopefully----if i can get tickets going to go to the F1 Grand Prix next weekend in KL) and I really want to do my dive liscence....other than that not got a lot of plans appart from a lot of excitement and fun....hopefully.
ANYWAY UNTIL NEXT TIME HOPE YOU ARE ALL WELL.....AND STILL READING THIS.
Hope your travells go well Clare and you stay safe......Dont talk to strangers.....unless they are called Ryan.
ALL THE LOVE
