had the most amazing evening - went to eat in an Hunnan province resturuant which means really spicey chilli covered food. lovely big borth with sausages, metballs, pigeon eggs and liver and pig skin - was actually lovely. followed by rice tofu with more chilli. we then had fish heads in chilli and ginger - roasting hot and of course did the delicacy and ate an eye! didnt really taste of anything really the fish head wierd and wobbly inside especially the cheek s...

having a wonderful tine - chinese people so friendly and i am really excited about being here for the olimpics. jurinas and jim have been really kind and intrducing me to dim sum and shopping in guangzhou. it is extremely hot 36 degrees and 80% humidity which is a real challaenge also getting bitten to bots by mozzies even though covered in deet. will be going inland next week to stay in round houses and experience another region of china so will bring back some ...
