Spent the day in town; went to a highly recommended Australian restaurant; tried crocodile and kangaroo. Lush sunny day so went to the espanalade and saw the fountains then went to the mall bought a few things and night in full of packing and watching crappy tv.

Got up early and drove to port Douglas for the markets; busy and sunny, saw some really nice things. Then lunch at mango jam; disgracefully they didn't have what I wanted.

Yesterday went to coffee and chocolate works. Today drove to the Daintree Rainforest, walked round the boardwalks which went to each level of the rainforest until you could see the top of the canopy. Then we went further north to Cape tribulation where the rainforest meets the sea and a reef, which was cool. Saw a Cassowary bird on the way back, huuuuge bird.

Travelled for 31 hours :|.. flew from Bangkok to Phuket waited 6 hours, went to the mall in bangkok, then got in a right cuffufle with the flight to Sydney, eventually got on the plane; in club class in the bubble of a 747, ahhh yeahhh. Got to sydney and had to wait another 4 hours to get to Cairns. Today got up at 6am to go snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef; definitely not my thing but saw 3 turtles and Wally the fish which was pretty cool. All the asians on...
