Long flight from Sydney to LAX. Was some probs with seats as they hadn't given us the ones we had reserved and tried to separate us. Saw supervisor who gave us 4 in a row and club lounge access! Arrived LAX on the same morning again( very weird). Picked up car, waited ages at Alamo again and had to upgrade to visit bags in!! Got a Dodge Durango, good car. Drove to San Diego, couldn't check in at 12, went for lunch, sat on the beach and finally got into rooms at 3.30. Not double beds in kids room so we moved mattress from our sofa bed to theirs! Double layer! Showered, finally, and went to Sea World. Saw Dolphin show and Shamu show, turtles and sharks. Hot dogs and home to bed, knackered lol
