After a quick walk along Golden Beach walkway we head back for a very quick pack as we didnt have to unhitch and set course for Brisbane and back on Bruce highway which changes from A3 - A1 - A7 - A5 back to A3 just to confuse you and then on Centennary and Cunningham Highways towards the QLD/NSW and our next major stop Tamworth.

We travel through Warwick, Stanthorpe and stop overnight at Wallangarra Lions free camp spot - a nice place and pretty quiet and which is only 600 metres from NSW border.

The next morning we cross the border into NSW the second sign after welcome to NSW is a ad for a Pub and it being the first in NSW lol.

We then pass throughTenterfield, Glenn Innes, Guyra, Armidale and into Uralla finding a great bush campsite called Rocky River Fossicking area - didnt find any gold, but instead had a couple of feathered guests pop in for a visit, check out the photos.

The next day with a short drive will seeing us arriving in Tamworth just in time for Melbourne Cup - YAH just couldn't miss it even though friends at home would be whooping up out for lunch!!
