Headed out of Corowa this morning, had to call back in to the Star Hotel as we left our hats and sunnies there the night before lol.

Had a pretty good drive up to Dubbo via Forebes and Parkes.

Called in to Forbes Cemetary where there was some historical gravesites including Ben Hall and Kate Foster (Ned and Dan Kelly's sister). Heather got her photography mojo back!!

After Forbes we called in to see the Parkes Observatory which was immortalised in the movie The Dish. We got there a little late and the info center was closed, but the kids still got to talk over the Whipering Dishes.

We also got to see the dish move as the Observatory is still functional.

Off to Dubbo now!
