See later blog for news etc Next stop was Cervantes, 250 km north of Perth. This is a lovely spot and when we stopped and opened Annie’s doors we knew we’d moved into another weather zone – it was sunny and appreciably warmer than we’d had for some weeks. On with the shorts, down to the beach and soon we were paddling in the Indian Ocean. The main reason for stopping here is the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park where thousands of limestone pillars up to 4 metres tall rise out of a stark landscape of yellow sand. This was spectacular especially at sunset and a full moonrise. Back for fish 'n' chips at the Tavern - yummy!
Then the following day it was time for a game of golf - this time accompanied by a family of emus. The golf was the worst E had played but it didn't matter!!
