This morning we waved goodbye to Barb and Linz after an all-too-brief stay as Barb needed to catch her train back to London; some people (unlike us) have to work on Monday! After my very short sleep I was up at 4.30am and creeping around the house like a burglar trying not to make any noise. Thank goodness for the iPhone torch! With packing done we went down to Breakfast at the hotel and found the brasserie to be quite busy; lots of people taking advantage of the B & B service, which I have to say is very good. The staff are very attentive and well-organised and I really like the Glasgow Pond Hotel but if I stayed there again I would certainly ask for a room away from the lift, lobby and stairs!
