Girls up about 12am. Gave up trying to get them to sleep at 4am. Had a look around our hotel (Hollywood) and the other (Disneyland) hotel too. Took a taxi to Disneyland park as the lines for the shuttle bus enormous. As soon as we entered were asked if we wanted to be grand marshalls and lead the parade! How exciting! We were thrilled. Received our very own Disney ears with our embroidered names, a big Mickey hand to wave, stickers for the kids and a private room to wait in. We were bursting! Then off we went, just the four of us, in a little red truck being driven down main street and waving to everyone. We had bought Celeste a big, white ballgown with gold tiara and sceptre so she really looked the part! We had a ball. Alex did her royal wave. Afterwards Celeste got pounced on for photos. Everytime she sat down (and sometimes standing) she got accosted for a photo - sometimes just her and other times with the person/s. It was very comical. She was having a ball too and loved posing! Then Celeste was asked if she wanted to take part in the princess parade. So she sat with all the other little girls who had dressed up. What a special day. We loved the park, better than Paris (not as good as Anaheim). There are more people at the park than normal because it is a holiday week in China. Kids fell asleep in the afternoon as very tired.
Our luggage still not arrived by the afternoon. Called to chase up and told 6pm. They denied they had promised the morning. Called at 9pm to be told would receive by 10.30pm. Received at approx 9.45pm. Discovered one of the zips broken. Sigh ...
