On December 18th we arrived in Australa from a 30 day visit to Cambodia. If you have been following our blog, you'd have read how much we enjoyed Cambodia - and all that is true. However, it wasn't until after we landed in Perth Australia that the After Taste of Cambodia hit.
At somepoint in Cambodia, we all had some sort of intestinal 'issue', but this After Taste has nothing to do with food - it is entirely the history of Cambodia since it became Independant from France in the 1950's. For me, the After Taste had to do with the Civil War, Communists, Capitalists, Cold War and Corruption.
The past few weeks, I have been enjoying the warm life - swimming in the ocean, drinking beer to cool off from the +40C heat, and hiding indoors with the air conditioner on. I have also been researching the history of Cambodia. If you are interested, check out the article:

As for Australia life - we all love it here, and are having a terriffic time visiting with my Sister and Mike. Seems odd - in two weks we are heading to Nepal !
