It felt a little like coming home to Yellowknife when we crossed the Manitoba-Ontario border...rocks and boreal forest. Wow, Winnipeg was a blast! Its a great city to begin with and we were so lucky to experience it with Rhian, Colin, Kaya and Mahri, our old neighbours in Yellowknife but also native Winnipegers. After it cleared up in Dinosaur Provincial Park we went on a very cool guided hike to a centrosaurus bone bed. We hiked 3km to a beautiful spot where hundreds of dinosaurs have been found. New fossils were exposed when we were there due to the heavy rains the days before so it was exciting for all of us to make new discoveries.
