Back on the road again and off to Waitomo caves (Jim's most anticipated part of the trip)! We arrived, got geared up in wetsuits (our first time this trip) and departed to explore the caves. We picked up innertubes along the way, right before we walked down into the depths of the cave. Once we got inside, im not gonna lie, it was a little bit claustrophobic (I may have had one mini panic attack) but once i settled in, it was a sweet time. we crawled through small tunnels filled with water, saw some waterfalls, and had a nice relaxing river ride through the caves while looking up at the green glowing glow-worms. There was also some mini cliff jumping inside the caves to make the excursion a little more extreme.
