So we are off again, this time to America.
We will be spending one week in Vegas where apparently "we can get up extra early to play poker tournaments!" (Dean is forgetting of course, that I don't rise until lunchtime).

Basically it's an international network that connects travelers with locals who act as hosts, allowing travelers to stay in their homes. I must admit, I was a little dubious at first. Think I've been exposed to too many of Dean's 'League of Gentlemen' Dvds and envisaged knife bearing maniacs holding me hostage in their homes. Truth is I talk far too much and get really smelly feet so I'm sure they'll be glad to be shot of me after a day or two! Hi hun, not used this before so hope you get the message! Wanted to wish you a fab hol, it sounds amazing! (good luck with the poker!) I left Birmingham yesterday back to pouring rain in Devon!! looking forward to some sun on Fri. Went to doctors this morning and success! I hope you guys are having lots of fun, and enjoying the Poker (as well as some lie-ins for Claire!). Checked up on Ziggy and she's doing fine. LJ is being very attentive to her. She enjoyed eating some prawns from my hand while I was there. I shall go back tomorrow to play with her some more. I hope customs weren't too OTT about swine flu!

Well I have just checked out Cusco on Utube my goodnes I now understand why you are there, just so wonderful and amazing. I also find the Nasca Lines Geoglyph fascinating. I used to watch a regular programme on television to do with the mysteries of the world and I remember being so awe struck about the 'lines'. I have also read that ancient stones have been found depicting modern day medicine! So keep a look out for those bloody aliens you never know what they might do next!! look after each other

Gosh what a brilliant trip, bucking horses, barking(and biting) dogs and ohhh that nest of spiders-wonderful -the spider with giant claws not forgetting 'criaturas muy venenosas' wot-nots-oh yes scorpions and snakes. What else oh yes a fish bit you whilst snorkelling- did it have a black fin by any chance? cant wait for the next installment - but what can be next- walking with lions - hugging Gorrilas (in th mist) (that WAS a joke Dean dont go planning your next trip just yet) I was saying to Dave we really should go - but I dont need to I can leave you to the experience and I shall relax and read your blog- i prefer that way - not sure why. Claire, when you get back I have something dark in the corner of the bathroom I would like you to take a look at, im sure you will find it a piece of cake.
By the way has the bear survived the trip? something tells me HE is for the children!!

Just cheched out Puerto Lopez described as a quaint fishing village. When you go 'whale watching' look for Sharks will yo it will make Dave's day!
Hope the whales are bigger than the ones we saw in Tenerife-make sure you get some good pics..Enjoy..
