In Odessa FL (just north of Tampa). Left Key West on Sunday, overnight in Naples (beautiful city with tons of amazing water front homes, big money) then on to Ruskin where I fished in the afternoon (lots of small croppie, hooked something big and heavy that snapped me off, it may have been the large turtle I saw surface a few minutes later) and camped overnight (with about 4 billion ants). Key West to Naples on Sunday. Rode through the Everglades, pretty cool. Saw 2 dead and one live gator. Super hot and muggy with on and off rain. Overnight in Naples then on to Ruskin.

Quick up date. Daytona Beach south to Coral Springs (Lauderdale area). Overnight with family, then on to Miami. Spent the afternoon and early evening hanging out at South Beach. Pretty amazing beach scene. Got sucker punched for a $44.00 hamburger and drink. The amount of money that changes hands at South Beach is absolutely absurd, From Miami down to Key West - the final destination. Rode through a tropical storm on the way to Key West. Am currently in Daytona Beach. Fun town, big biker town. Harley Shops and Tatoo parlors on every corner. Bike took a dump so I'm stuck here for a couple days. Will be a good break, found a cheap hotel on the beach, next door to a bar / restaurant. Not to mention it has been pooring rain since I got here. I will sit out the storm, get the bike fixed up, and head out next week. Had a fun reunion with a hotel parking lot where I was uncerimoniously handcuffed...
