It was a short bus ride to Mui Ne, I had never stayed there before.
The town was made up of one long street next to the sea front which was full of resorts and bungalows ranging from one to six stars. We stayed in the cheapest one we could possibly find, it was very expensive to stay in Mui Ne. We would have loved to have stayed in a beach side bungalow but we just couldn't afford to. It was 30 dollars a night and we were used to a maxium of 15.
Ou room had a small swimming pool outside it and the beach was a ten second walk away. The sea was quite rough and windy all the time so it was perfect for kite surfing and all the other types of surfing. It was too expensive for us though so we spent our days playing in the sea, lying on deckchairs and playing pool. It was excellent therapy for the soul and a good few days well spent.
Mui Ne was a great place to try fish and we had it at every meal pretty much. On the last night we went all out and bought a lobster each with lots of side dishes for eight pounds each. I was in heaven!
