Somewhere between Amsterdam and Hong Kong a plain is flying and one of it's passengers is a girl. The girl has got no idea what's going to happen to her during the next eleven months. Where she goes and when is quite clear, but how she's gonna spend her time is vague. She's got lots of plans: surfing, teaching surfing, meeting new people, discovering other cultures and just enjoying an endless summer.

The girl understands that her endless summer can not actually be endless and she will be thinking about her near future. She just might even translate a theatreplay, (self-)study culturel history and write some songs during her round-the-world-trip. She also want to keep up the good work for the Soul Surfers Foundation (www.soulsurfers.org).

Many dreams, plans and ideas late in the evening (00.30 hrs in; Hong Kong) or the early evening (18.30 hrs Amsterdam), but whatever is going to happen to the girl, I'm sure she's heading for a beautiful, amazing year. And after this year, when she is able to hug al her friends and family again, the girl may just be able to tell them that she has found what she had to find.
