We journeyed by long tail boat through a network of these islands to get to our home for the night, a raft house moored on the 95 metre deep lake full of giant catfish (up to 3 metres long). It was an absolute dream land and so so silent.
Took a boat ride in the afternoon to an island and hiked/climbed for 2 hours up a waterfall through the rainforest. The best bit was a huge, deafening thunderstorm started when we were half way up and the rain was so heavy it hurt! At the top, or the highest bit we went to, there was a bit you can sit under and the water gives you a back massage. One of the best experiences of my life.
