Arrival to hong kong was unusual seeing that we got to hong kong from china by subway. The ride only took around a half hour, we eventually reached our point of destination which was the city view hotel, the first impression I got when I saw the hotel was unbelievable, it was way too posh for bunch of us being travellers! But we hardly going to complain for having a bit of luxury? :-) me' and Asher had our own private room while the lads shared, Charlene was on her own, she relished every moment about having her own room lol. The view from my room was a girls college and other hotel. I was happy to learn that they provide free swimming pool and sauna! I wanted to go straight away but rest of the group wanted to get something to eat so we went out and explored. funnily enough just around the corner there was a burger king but some of us didn't want to eat there seeing that it wasnt a chinese restaurant, we felt that in hong kong we should try some Chinese food regardless. We walked down to the famous Nathan road when we realised there were not much Chinese influenced restaurants so we opted to go to spaghetti house which was gorgeous with all these range of choices such as pasta and pizza. The price was not that cheap but it wasnt expensive either. We enjoyed our english food which is familiar to us after being in china with all these weird choice of food like snake and monkey, two words comes across my mind: cruel china!
