hey hey everyone!!!
Im no longer on the east coast. Ive been in Darwin for3 days then i made my way down to Alice springs on tour.
Darwin was lovely. Soooo hot too, i got so burnt. I didnt really do alot there really, just chillin out on the beach really. it was nice.
I then started my tour at 5am!! The first thing we did was canoeing on the Katherine Gorge. there were crocs in the river that were near our canoe. Scary!!!
On the nights we slept outside in swags (thick tents) under the stars, it was amazing!
Tjhe next day we stopped at Daly waters; the olders pub in NT. it was a crazy place. good fun We also went swimming in hot springs. its was gorgeous! apart from the spiders the size of your hand. my spider phobia is dissapearing slowly! We also went to the devils marbels, which were cool random rocks.
After this the trip to Uluru (ayers rock started). First we rode a camel!!, so funny. Then we climbedd Kata Tjuta. It was so nice. We then had champange whilst watching the sunset over Uluru! Amazing!
First thing the next day we walked all the way around ayers rock. it was so crazy seeing it up close. Then made our way to kings canyon.
Everynight wee cookedd on the fire and toasted marshwellows. it was so nice. The walk up kings canyon was quite difficult but really worth it. Amazing views!
Overall the trip was very tiring; 4-5am starts and you dont go to bed unitl 12am aswell. then about 7-8km of walking up hill everyday. But it was amazing. What i really wanted from travelling!
Im now in alice springs which is nice. IOve had a couple of nights out here. the bar Bojangles was so crazy. Crocs on the ceiling and stuff. Handles on the wrong sides of the doors, taps that turn on the wrong sinks. And i had camel pie! it was really nice actually.
Ive only got 10 weeks left which is crazy. its going so quickly.
Take care everyone.Miss you
xxxxx
