Another interesting journey to Dalat (getting used to these now), bouncing up the mountain in a tiny minivan. Met some people who were staying at the same place as us so we all managed to walk from the bus drop off to our hostel, which saved faffimg with taxis and Motos!
Our hostel wasn't great but the staff were so nice it made up for it!! Had two lovely dogs which sat and cuddled the guests!
Had a cool night market in Dalat which we wondered around and was quite nice and chilled after HCMC. We spent a day sightseeing, visited the crazy house which was so fun! I didn't really understand why it was there but just was loads of stairs and trees built into a house. Amazing views of Dalat from the roof.
In the afternoon we visited the Datanla waterfalls, we could get a roller coaster/ bobsleigh thing down the bottom of the waterfall. It was so much fun, we had to breaks ourselves too not sure how safe it was but we enjoyed it!! The waterfall was huge and so beautiful.
Ash convinced me to try Canyoning, which included trekking, swimming, water slides, cliff jumping and abseiling down waterfalls! I was so nervous but actually really enjoyed and wasn't too bad at it (ash was top of the class as usual!). Had to abseil down a hugeeee waterfall, the water was so fast down and it was slippy too. So impressed I did it though :). Obviously the rope wasn't long enough so we had to jump the last 5m backwards off the waterfall into the waterfall. I slipped at the end but managed to get my footing before propelling myself backwards (insurance would defiantly not cover this!). Instead of walking some bits we had got to float down the river which I loved :). Met some cool people in our group too.
We caught another night bus to Ho Chi Minh ready for my flight. This was wasn't so bad and a much better company than the one on Cambodia. I managed a few hours sleep, even with the girl throwing up next to ash haha!!
Spent a day wandering around the city again, enjoying fruit shakes and coffee shops. So sad saying goodbye to Ash but hopefully I will see him in Malaysia otherwise in Australia!!
