After another looong bus journey, a supposed 6 hours which ended up taking 10 hours! We made it through the border to Can Tho. Border 'officials' asked for $2 off us with no explanation I suppose just because they can.

They don't have tuk tuks in South Vietnam :( so had to get a moto taxi to the hostel with the driver also holding my rucksack!

The following day got up at half 4 to go the floating markets on the Mekong Delta, on a small wooden boat, quite fun but I had trouble staying awake which amused ash! Enjoyed lots of fresh watermelon and pineapple from the markets. Also visited a rice noodle factory and walked through the countryside. Our guide was hilarious, played a music games with us where he sang a song and we had to get the artist. He proceeded to sing Adele, rolling in the deep, the whole way through with ash awkwardly dancing hahaha! Ash spent hours asking him about Vietnamese food, what snake, rat and dog tasted like yuck! I went veggie for a week after this after some questionable spring rolls!!!
