We had an all day journey to koh Tao from koh lanta, picked up by mini bus, on 2 chain ferries, swop to coach in krabi, 3hour drive, 3 hour ferry! We had a great location on the beach in a bungalow, we spent 4nights here, chilling mainly, hired mopeds for a day, took a map & stopped at several bays for snorkelling as it's world class for diving/snorkelling in koh Tao! After catching small boat from Railay which met ferry out in the ocean for us to hop on to & then a 2 hour journey on that, we arrived on Koh Lanta. It's a very quiet & relaxing town with gorgeous beaches with peach coloured sand & bays. I started my island hopping with koh phi phi, getting there by ferry from Phuket. It is a beautiful island but is mainly a party island now! It consists of winding walking streets full of shops etc & a couple of beautiful beaches & a viewpoint, we had a great night on our first night in a few bars & on the beach at a party, but unfortunately all got sick on the second night, I felt awful! Everyone we seem to seems to get sick on phi phi, could be food...

Phuket is a big place, some nice beaches along the coast line but we stayed in Phuket town so as to be close to the ferry port for phi phi island! From Phuket we did our visa run to Myanmar, Burma, so as to get a further 30days visa to stay in Thailand!
