Hey everyone,

think this is working to some extent now !

right so left rio on the 1st - while we were there i basically spent the day on cococabana beach as it was to cloudy to go up sugar loaf mountain in the cable car as you couldnt see anything !

so when we left there we went to a little island called ilha grande (the big island ) near rio, this place is so chilled out , but we decided to be energetic and take the three hour hike up over the mountian to the other side of the island . my legs felt like jelly but was well worth it when we saw the size of the waves on lopez mendes beach !

we samba danced quite a bit on the island, but we have now moved on to parati, today we went down to the pier and there was a carnival of boats so we had a bit of a boogie which was fun !

think im going to hvae a look round at all thye old churches tomorrow here, as i feel like doing something slightly intellectually stimulatying !
