Hi!!

We enjoyed our last few days in Fiji. We returned to Nadi and on our very last day we did the Seaspray Day Cruise around the Mamanuca Islands. It was brilliant! We started off on a catamaran and went around some of the islands that are not to far from the Harbour including: Southsea Island, Bounty Island (used in the TV series Love Island), and Treasure Island, which were all gorgeous. Then we set out for Mana Island, where we got a tiny little boat from the catamaran to the Seaspray sailing ship. On board they played music and sang to us. We stopped off at an island where we watched a traditional Kava ceremony. Kava is a drink which Kayleigh tried and said it tastes like pond water! We got back on board and had a great lunch, before stopping at Modriki Island (the one where Castaway was filmed). We did some swimming here which was fantastic. Unfortunately we didn't get to the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. But oh well.

I was a bit sad to leave Fiji, but ready to start our tour of New Zealand. We had a good flight over, only 2hrs 45mins. It was nice to have such a short flight after the mammoth ones we have done. It is actually 13hrs ahead of UK here, because of their summer time. We are staying in Auckland with some of Kayleighs friends at the moment. They have been great, they met us from the airport. We had a really nice homemade meal last night and most importantly have had plenty of proper tea to drink!!!! We are hoping to get the ferry across to the city tomorrow, and see the skytower and maybe the aquarium, which also has penguins!! There are loads of places on our to do list inlcuding Paihia, Cape Regina, Rororua, the Waitomo Caves, Napier, Wellington, Kaikoura, Christchurch, Franz Josef and Queenstown. I will stay in touch and let you know if we get to do them all!
