Hi!! I have finally been able to write a blog (blob for mum) for you. The flight over was very good, even though the original one was cancelled. When we arrived at the hostel, it was like walking into a tatoo parlour (very grungy). However only had to stay 2 nights there.

We went for a walk along Hollywood Boulevard, saw lots of famous stars (on the pavement). Also saw people setting up the Kodak Theatre for the Oscars, wanted to run all over the red carpet but the men with guns put me off! Will be returning to LA at the end of next week, to explore the city more.

Bus to San Francisco was ok. Hostel is much nicer!! Have a trip to Alcatraz planned for Monday. Today we walked all round the city, to Fishermans Wharf, where we took a boat trip around the bay. We went under the Golden Gate Bridge and circled Alcatraz.

Will be on our way to Las Vegas early next week. Will put it all on black. Joke. Will hopefully see the Grand Canyon whilst we are there.
