Finally we got back to sea level (yay!) was warm and sunny and we could stop blaming everything on the altitude. We just stayed here for one night, campng on the beach. On the way we stopped off a more ruins and saw more mummies and bones etc.The main purpose of this stop was the sangria party that we had on the beach with the bbq and the two other trucks (swampy and moose). Left Cusco and headed to Arequipa. Here, after chilling out for a few days, we got back into the cultural side of things. Went to see the convent, which was huge, a mini town of itsa own. Its still in use today, but that section of the convent was cornered off and the number of nuns has massively decreased. It was pretty interesting thought and very pretty, plus the cafe had the nicest lemon pie ever (its still the small things that count) I also wet to a muse...

Got to Cusco and it was one of the guys on the trucks birthday so had a bit of a big night out. Irish pub and some gringo filled club for a bit of boogie. The next moring was interesting as we went on a tour of the sacred valley and a few people were a little worse for wear. I was fine, just a bit tired. Left La Paz and headed to yet another border and into Peru. We drove to a place called Puno on Lake Titikaka. Here we did the usual walk around town and went out for dinner. We went to a gorgeous restaurant and I had an Alpaca steak which was delicious and as a table we also tried guinee pig. Arrived in La Paz, the highest capital in the world after another long drive day. Was wet and cold when got there, but really lovely- the city has a great vibe. That evening we walked around the town and saw where everything was before going to a lovely French restaurant, where I ate yummy duck. Afterwards we went to a local bar for a few quite drinks.
