We arrived on Koh Samui at midday and got on a bus (pick up truck with benches in the back) to take us to Lamai. We found a cute little beach hut to stay in! We lazed for a few days here along with a load of old European men with their respect Thai ladies. It was very, very wrong! Jim caught his forst glimpse of a ladyboy dancing on a pole - the curiousity quickly turned to fear, I think. Stayed until we could change our travel plans the left to go to Big Buddha Beach. Much more chilled out and much less thai bride nonsense! Found another cute little beach hut right on the shore. Cute that is until I found the cockroaches in the bathroom after we'd been out to a very romantic valentines dinner. I did not sleep well after that! Urgh!!!!
